Dunrite Cleaners has been collecting, reusing, and recycling hangers for over 25 years. As an inaugural member of the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute’s new Cleaners Care hanger recycling program, we pledge to:
- Reuse and recycle as many hangers as possible.
- Send all unusable hangers to a recycling facility.
- Help customers properly recycle unwanted hangers.
- Do our part to reduce landfill waste.
Along with our many other recycling initiatives and programs designed to protect our environment including plastic bag recycling and on-site, closed-loop dry cleaning fluid filtration and reprocessing, we are committed to helping DLI and other industry associations keep 10 million hangers (over 300 tons of steel) out of US landfills each year.
